safety systems fropm Banner Engineering are installed to reliably detect the intrusion of
personnel into the hazardous area and so the machine can remove the
hazard before personnel can reach it. If all phototransistors
(receivers) are not receiving light from their corresponding LED
(emitters), the hazardous motion of the machine is immediately stopped.
Optical
safety systems may be used only in applications where hazardous machine
motion can be stopped relatively quickly. |
